NOTE: In any Alabama DYB State Tournament if three teams remain with one loss and all have played the same number of games there will be two runner-ups in that tournament. ARTICLE I - Name:
This organization shall be known as Alabama Dixie Youth Baseball. Any "off-year" appointments/elections will be for the un-expired portion of the three (3) year term only. The Host League must provide team parents to serve as hosts to each competing team. The Dixie Youth All-Star baseball season is nearly here. MANAGERS AND COACHES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WARM-UP PITCHERS AT ANY LEVEL OF SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT PLAY. When the State Directors position becomes vacant, it will be filled by the Assistant State Director (provided one has been appointed) until a special election is held to qualify a successor. The Host will charge a per-day gate fee of $10.00 per person ages 13 and above; the $10.00 gate fee includes the $1 donation from each paying adult on the first two (2) days for the Scholarship Fund.
