Pre-Move Survey
All enquiries are followed by a no obligation onsite survey, whenever necessary. Our experienced eloca-tion Consultants will visit the clients to assess the requirements for each move.
They will then advise on the most appropriate methods of hipping, provide customs information and answer any initial queries. Surveys are a very important part of the move, as they assist in assessing the volume for the shipment, types of packing, materials needed and any special requirements. It is therefore important to show the consultant all the items which are required for shipping (including all those items in cupboards and drawers), to make the assessment as accurate as possible.
Operation Planning
Prior to each move, our Project Team would go through the details of move requirements. Manpower deployment, materials usage, tools allocation etc are discussed. The smallest details are discussed to ensure a smooth and hassle free relocation.
Operation Execution
Our team of highly skilled movers and packers will ensure that the move is carried out without a hitch. The team is always prepared to go the extra mile to please our customers' expectations.
Customer Feedbacks After each move, our clients would be requested to complete a Customer Feedback Form. We would request for feedback on things such as punctuality, quality of service, friendliness etc. All Feedback Forms are submitted straight to our top management for review daily. This enables us to constantly monitor the standard of service we are providing so as to ensure that every move meets with our customer's expectations.
Special Crating
Special cratings are used to house items that are particularly fragile or of high value, such as upright pianos, mirrors, large vases etc. These crates are made to measure by our skilled carpenters for every single piece of such items. The items are packed in brown paper or bubble-packed, straw board and then padded inside the crate. Items like grand and baby grand pianos will require special handling and crating from expert piano handlers. Such a service can be arranged by us.
Glass. Chinaware & Pottery
Items like glasses, chinaware and pottery are packed in layers of tissue paper before being wrapped in bubblewrap. Dishpack cartons made from sturdy 3-ply cardboard are designed for fragile items like these. The cartons are padded using polyfoam and paper for lining prior to placing the item inside.
Clothing Packing
There are two types of packing available for clothing. The most common type is the LayDown Carton packing. The clothings are laid down flat in these cartons. Silica gel is always used to minimise moisture buildup. The other type is the Hanging Wardrobe. The clothings are hooked onto a bar inside the carton, so that they remain hanging during the transit process. It is most recommended for clothings like suits, shirts, evening dresses etc.
Carpets Packing
Carpets and rugs are rolled with tissue paper and silica gel before being wrapped in cardboard sheets. We recommend that all carpets be cleaned thoroughly prior to packing.
Moisture Control
Silica Gel is placed in all packages to protect against moisture and mildew. We also recommend that dehumidifiers and air conditioners be switched on for a couple of days prior to packing to ensure that the items are dry.
Furniture Packing
Corners and handles of furnitures are protected before wrapping, using paper, polyfoam or bubble wrap. The whole piece is enveloped inside a corrugated cardboard.
Assembling & Dismantling Services
We can arrange for an electrician to dismantle electrical items such as light fittings, ceiling fans and air conditioners prior to the items being packed. For shipments arriving in Singapore, we can also arrange for tradesmen to connect washing machines, ovens, chandeliers, air conditioners and other electrical appliances. Beds and large pieces of furniture may require dismantling prior to packing for a move, or assembling if moving into Singapore. These services can be performed by us.
