Hotel Royal Limited was incorporated in Singapore in 1968 to carry on the business of an hotelier.
It owns a 16-storey hotel, the Hotel Royal with 331 suites and luxurious rooms along Newton Road, Singapore, a stone throw away from the shopping paradise of Orchard Road. It has a Chinese restaurant and another Japanese restaurant, a local coffee house serving western and local delights, as well as a lobby lounge, a pub, karaoke lounge, as well as a swimming pool and gym in the hotel.
The Hotel Royal Group of companies also owns Hotel Royal @ Queens, located at Queen Street, Singapore, in the city centre. It has 223 suites, apartments and well equipped rooms, with a good range of restaurants and entertainment outlets.
The Group also owns Grand Complex, a prime commercial complex in the central business district of Wellington, New Zealand. Grand Complex has about 262,500 square feet of lettable retail and office space, and 330 car park lots.
The Group invests some of its surplus funds in equity investments and also with established fund managers.
The Group is presently looking at the redevelopment of Grand Complex's retail space and scouting for hotel opportunities in Singapore and the region.
